Our Process

We’ve tried to make the complex process of wiping a hard drive as simple as possible so that typical users can easily protect their identities.

There is NO WINDOWS INSTALLATION REQUIRED !!!

With SurErase, it’s very simple to protect your identity.

Here’s an overview of the process:

Step 1 – Insert the SurErase CD, shut off your computer, and then turn your computer back on.

SurErase will boot from your CD and prepare your system to be wiped.

Step 2 – Insert the SurErase USB Key

SurErase will prompt you to make certain you want to erase your drive(s), and that’s it.  The erase will take place and you can monitor the progress on the screen.

Step 3 – Insert the SurErase USB Key in a working, Internet-connected computer and you can upload your erase results to SurErase to print a variety of reports about your configuration and the erase results.  You can use these reports for tax purposes, to resell the PC, or as proof of erase.

It’s really that easy to protect your identity.
